The new PVED-CX4 Series 7 is a direct replacement for the PVED-CX Series 4.

The software functionalities, SIL certification, CANbus messaging, and EDS file that is used for the PVED-CX Series 4 can be applied to the PVED-CX4 Series 7.

The PVED-CX4 Series 7 is built on the known Series 7 platform utilizing State-of-the-art-technology.

The core design is based on proven in use technologies introduced in the already implemented Series 7 variants with improved robustness on the following parameters:

  • Increased ambient temperature range at -40°C to 90°C [-40°F to 194°]
  • Improved EMC compliance and E-mark
  • Machined aluminum block from marine grade alloy
  • Improved surveillance of the internal LVDT sensor signal
